My work revolves around maintaining the quality and safety of our herbs. I conduct inspections, check the herbs in a controlled environment and oversee the production process to ensure everything meets our high standards. Every day starts with setting priorities in the Quality Team: which herbs need to be checked first to ensure they’re ready for production? We coordinate this with the logistics department. Carrying out quality-related tasks involves constant collaboration with various departments in the company, including Sourcing, Supply Chain, Production, Logistics and others.

I love the analytical aspects of my work, especially conducting quality tests and developing guidelines to ensure our herbs meet all the applicable standards. It’s always a rewarding moment when I can confirm that a batch has passed all quality checks, knowing that our customers will receive only the freshest, highest-quality herbs. I also achieve great satisfaction from my role as a trainer of quality controllers.

It isn’t just a single day, but something that happens annually and that’s the run-up to Christmas.
