Can you describe your everyday work in a few sentences?

My day starts with reviewing the key performance indicators, after which I create the daily schedule and look ahead to the rest of the week to identify potential challenges. I discuss these with the team. I also spend a lot of time working on REALtime (ERP) projects, which range from contributing to requirements, conducting tests and meetings with our developers, to training colleagues.

What do you enjoy most about your role as Supply Chain Team Leader?

The best part is the variety, balancing the responsibilities of a Supply Chain Team leader with my role as an engineer on the REALtime project. My work with REALtime is particularly energising, because it’s a great learning experience. I love being involved in new things and looking at ways we can improve processes.

What is the most valuable thing you’ve learned at Vitacress Real?

Without a doubt, it’s the ultra-fresh environment of fresh herbs. It’s a completely different ball game! You need to be able to adapt quickly and be proactive at all times.

Which herb would you compare yourself with and why?
Chives: highly versatile and very adaptable. Chives may not take centre stage, but you definitely miss them when they’re not there.

What was your best ever day at work? Why that day?

The two ‘Personal Vision’ sessions truly stand out for me because of the #WeCare aspect towards employees, followed by the informal and super fun part with the cooking battle. But to be honest, I come to work every day with a positive attitude and a spring in my step.
