Let me start by saying that no two days are the same. But generally, I focus on preparing orders for outgoing herb shipments, creating transport schedules and ensuring smooth collaboration within the team.

I absolutely love creating the transport schedule. I enjoy the combination of coordinating with different parties and working with numbers. Calculating everything and optimising transport efficiency are what I find most rewarding.

It’s the way they organise various social activities with colleagues (and their families) outside of work. For example, I’ve participated in the Venloop half marathon, joined in with the annual Sinterklaas celebration with my family, and there’s an upcoming trip to the Toverland amusement park planned with colleagues and their families.

Organising four times the amount of transport we had initially planned for, all in a single day. And that was on a day when we were down to just two logistics team members. Despite the challenge, we worked together to ensure everything ran smoothly, production continued without interruption and our customers received their herbs on time.
